Project Overview
WiFi Linux is a project to establish a LiveCD Linux Distro. for wireless network detection, mapping and maintenance. A basic overview of features:
Developer's note: Before we begin the overview, I would like to apologize that this site has not been up, even though the porject has been established for awhile. We're not going to be one of those dissappearing projects. Anyway, being students first and foremost, my co-developer and I are a little busy with schoolwork. Regardless, we'll get a build up and ready to go. The first build will be small, and will lack X-Window (and, as such, those programs requiring it). Later builds, we hope by v.0.5, will have a slim version of X.
A little more explaination: We are not great programmers as much as we are experienced Linux users. I have some Java experience (which is not useful here). So anyway, we're working when we can to get this build up.
Enjoy!
